I think we have figured out what is up with Katie...she is a musician! Desperate to find a way to keep her out of trouble, I took the little quarter-size fiddle I had hanging on the wall and let her "play" with us during practice last night and she LOVED it! I had bought the fiddle years ago when I thought Kelli might be interested in learning. But it was so hard to keep in tune and Kelli was not so interested (Kelli is learning banjo right now). So, it became a nice decoration for our living room wall. Until now.
Katie took that little fiddle right up and was thrilled with its squawking. She is a little frustrated that it doesn't sound like Clark's fiddle. She tried to trade him. But when denied, she went back to her little fiddle. Big brother, Camden, put new strings on it for her and fixed it up real nice.
I should have known...we had another mischief-maker before her that grew up to be quite a fiddler. And actually, he is still often into mischief even now. Just ask him about what happened to his eyebrows, and what that has to do with lighter fluid and a Pringle's can.
You know, "mischief-making" and "fiddling around" do mean the same thing....

This is the CUTEST picture ever!!!

Camden tried to tune it for her and the strings broke, so we are going to have to wait to get some of Clark's castoffs. She is sad she can't play her little fiddle...you ought to see her boo-boo face!

does clark have any eyebrows left?

Forunately, his eyebrows are intact. However, he was hoping to frustrate the growth of his budding unibrow. (I am going to get it for saying that!)
